Description
Sorry for the huge lapse in activity, this is part of the reason why. As most of you know, I'm working on a very large Shadow Tribute project, consisting of 4 images, each a tribute to a Shadow Stage in Sonic Adventure 2. I've decided to upload each piece as I finish it and then at the end, I'll release the entire project.Radical Highway is the first image. Perspectivewise, this was a very large challenge, due to the offcentered nature and vertical composition I tried to go for. It isn't my best work but that's because this is only 1/4th of the final product. White Jungle, SKy Rail, and Final Chase are going to be colored over the next two weeks. The finished image is going to be a huge wallpaper of all the stages.
Thanks for the people who came to the stream. 34 people WOW. thats the most I've had in one stream. Thank you guys so much.

the time for completion is still WIP technically for the whole project but the coloring took about 4 hours.

ahh.......SA1 was better just saying.
But it is sad I've noticed that sonic games have this odd habit of for lack of a better term popularizing one character for a certain level of time then out of nowhere there lika a dull roar.

I sure loved Sonic adventure 2, and I miss as HELL my Dreamcast....Radica Highway was one of my favorites Levels to play with shadow, it was just incredible!

Wow... Again you are amazing creating these masterpieces!
I'm quickly taken back to the time when Shadow made his first appearance in a tralier where he was atop of the giant bridge structure inspired from San Francisco's 'Golden Gate Bridge'.
The dynamic angle, Shadow's action pose, the LIGHTING effects (again another top job on that), the cityscape bg, the amount of detail put into everything - all of these elements incorporated together make this a beautiful, stand-out concept art piece dedicated to that chapter in the DARK chapter of SA2.
I can't help but admire the lighting again, it's so well done, from the reflection of the rails, the sparks from the grinding, to the moonlight and bridge-lights beaming across the night sky. This is simply magnificent to look at.

The general black-red-blue color balance in this is really good and attractive to the eye. And if you look up close, the amount of detail and accuracy is quite impressive (like on Shadow's shoes on in the starlit sky). It says the resolution's 687 by 1800, but was it really that size when you were working on it?
I'm favoriting this and looking forward to seeing the other 3 drawings!

I watched the stream, and I have to say, you are so magical with Photoshop xD I just can't get over the amount of detail you put into the background, the lighting, everything. This is the kind of art I dream of producing, and you've really inspired me to improve. I can't wait to see the rest of it, this section is outstanding~

I have to say, this looks amazing. Plus, aesthetically speaking, Radical Highway was my number 1 favorite Shadow stage and this is the first time I'm seeing it drawn as a background and you really nailed it in my opinion. And yeah, Shadow looks great in your style too. The pose you did looks very dynamic but then again, I'm sure that's the whole point since in the level, you were constantly either grinding or running at full speed. Really nice work, I can't wait to see the other ones.
