Part 4 of now 5 for the Ultimate Life Form Project, showcasing Shadow's highlights from SA2.The lighting in this picture was an absolute nightmare due to how space lighting works (I was looking at ISS pictures to help me). Light pretty much goes everywhere, so I had to focus it in some spots to get better depth. I also heavily abused the orange, green, and blue palettes, so I apologize ahead of time if this burned the eyes out of your skull.
There aren't many pictures of Final Chase on deviantart, which surprises me since it opens up a ton of options. The perspective in this was insanely difficult though because I had to correct the floating arrow pod for 4 hours, due to how out of whack it was (I'm a stickler for that).
Anyway, Hope you like. 1 part left, then I can release the entire project as a completed piece. Once again, thanks for your support on this, guys. It means alot.

My personal favorite of the series.
There is a great balance of vivid colors and dark shaded areas in this. You have a great knack for effects, be it spacial, gridded, grainy, starry, or gleaming. And I see you've implemented a bit of each aforementioned one into this. I'm most impressed with how you've managed to make a turquoise lighting scheme work for Shadow in such a mostly-green environment. The intricate designs of that mechanism up near the top right is also very impressive, as it has so much time-consuming detail in it alone.
Excellent work, Dan. This is truly a beautiful and remarkable piece to enjoy.
