This is just a sketch I did, not very good at all, but I wanted to draw this scene SO bad!

This scene from the book is so depressing.
I think the book in general is a beautiful masterpiece and one of the best romances I have ever read.
Also, your piece looks very touching! Good work!

Oh, I know, right? Erik's change of heart in the end is just heart-breaking.
The book is good. I need to read it through again, though.

Exactly! I feel like crying every time I read the end and I've always been sympathetic for Erik.

I've read the book like two times, but I'm more than tempted to read through it again. It's amazing! I absolutely adore the musical, but there's something about the book that makes it more unique.

I know when I really got into the book, I couldn't stop reading it!!! I loved learning about Christine and Raoul's childhood and more about Erik.

Hmmmm, I don't know. I might just give it a try if you'd like to see it!
