Description
I originally colored this as a day scene, but after a suggestion from , I changed it to a night scene, which I'm happier with. The mood is more appropriate for Hellboy methinks. The only downside is that I wanted him to be the rich red that he's known for, but it wouldn't work in this lighting.

The whole thing wasn't planned very well, as I kinda made it up as I went along. It was originally supposed to be a quick drawing. So yeah, I didn't even notice I forgot the shadow until later. I don't care enough to go add it in now. LOL. Well, maybe I do.

just use a lil PS effect to add some shadow, I believe it's easy to make your drawing perfect

Oooh yeah, MUCH better as a night scene!! BRILLIANT job my friend!!! love it love it love it. Just saw "Cloverfield" and saw this trailer again (saw the trailer with Beowulf too) and let me tell you what, it looks FREAKING AWESOME!! Can't wait!!!! Your pic has gotten me totally excited!

Uh, I hated Pans Lab. HATED. With all my heart and soul. I went in expecting a mystical amazing fairytale and got a horrible story about a sadistic dictator. When they said it was from the same director I thought, CRAP. He'd better not be beating anyone's face in with a rifle in this one, or cutting people's fingers off, etc etc. What a horrible movie. I didn't like any character at all. How COULD the mom be so stupid as to marry that monster? The little girl was a vague disobedient child. I wasn't really sorry she was shot (don't be mad at me, I just didn't like her, horrid little vapidly bad actress that she was) The Faun was cruel. that horrible scene with the Child Eater thing with the eyes on his hands creeped me out for weeks. the only person likable was that one guy who tried to help (the doc, right?) knowing he'd be killed. Hell, everyone knew they'd be killed. At least the bad guy was a truly horrifyingly bad guy (very good actor). I hate when people in movies die but this was one time when I was glad when he was finally shot, not just cuz he truly, awfully deserved it, but cuz I knew this agonizing movie was finally over. I am not saying it was "badly done", it was visually amazing. Most of the acting was very good (it was my first Spanish movie, too, bummer, I was really rooting for it). It's just the theme of the movie was more like a horror movie than a "fantasy" movie, which I was NOT expecting. The Hellboy movie better only be like Pan only in the sense that it's visually impressive and high on great fantasy; if it's bloody gross or cruelly dark I'm gonna be really, really mad.

Yeah, I have to admit that it was less fantasy oriented than I thought it was gonna be too, and more violent, but I did love it. I was sucked into the whole thing. 
Yeah, well, if you liked the first Hellboy, you should still like the second one, cuz it was made by the same guy. He just made Pan in between. I loved Blade 2 and he made that too.

Loved the first Hellboy so much I've seen it like a zillion times. He's the PERFECT hero, I love how he loves kittens (and not for eating! ha ha) and I love the love story, too. It was just brilliant. I didn't realize the first one was by the same Pan guy. Well then good, that means hopefully he wont F up the 2nd HB with pointless gore. Dark is fine. Dark + Funny (like the first one) even better. But Dark + Pointless Gore =

Very nice job. I love how you always get such smooth work out of graphite. And even if he isn't that really rich red, the red-purple color works pretty well. The whole bit looks like it could be a comic poster.
