A very small solitary bee sleeping. Shot with a malfunctioning MT-24EX (only one flash head is firing).Tech specs: Canon 40D (F13, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 2x) + a diffused MT-24EX macro twin flash (-1 FEC).

Any lend in the 100mm range makes an excellent macro lens for a beginner -any brand since they are all equally sharp.
