Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in Ramah, New Mexico.

Wow, that's really far from home. I'll check out if there's a similar sanctuary near here. I'd love to visit one or even volunteer for one. It seems like such a pleasing experience.

Yeah, I live in New England, so it was quite the trip for me.. Well worth it though Wild Spirit is one of the largest wolf sanctuaries in the US.
There's almost certainly a wildlife sanctuary of some sort closer to you. A wolf rescue might be a little harder to find, but there's more than likely one within a reasonable driving distance. Hell, I've visited a few in New York and New Jersey :]
