Queen of Hell: A Daizua Neo Story (Non-Canon)
Episode 2
----------
Centuries passed. Seasons came and went. The land of Tartarus has shown little improvement. Since she had established her new empire, Kirra had abused it, stripping it of power to fuel her own. She had also created a massive army, numbering in tens of thousands, none of which are human. The only humans she does keep are mere slaves who serve her need endlessly. Many other creatures exist to serve her will, including chimeras, cyclops, minotaurs, makhai, and many more. It was a seemingly endless army. The sun rises over the fiery wasteland, over the obsidian castle where Kirra resides. She walks down the hall, now full of clothes, but not yet in a regal state, as her resources are thin. But this does not concern her yet, as there will be plenty of land to claim and steal from.
Kirra: Wake up, my beauties. Rise and shine.
As she enters the main chamber, six other demons join and circle her. These are Nightmare Tartarans, which are elite versions of their species, capable of things their normal counterparts are not. They are Centor the centaur; who leads the centaurs in work and war; Naga the lamia, Kirra's caretaker and personal guard; Minos the minotaur, the Prime Commander of the armies of Tartarus; Hax the harpy, the lead scout and harpy leader; Cykok the cyclops, a brutish hunter; and Slukk the slime, whom Kirra had enhanced.
Minos: The building of the army is almost done, my Queen, but we've run out of resources.
Slukk: There is no more to be found on this land.
Hax: Should we strike immediately to make more?
Kirra: Patience, my friends. We cannot act with haste. To fell your prey, you must study it, observe it, become it. We may be low, but we are not ready to make our presence known.
Naga: I am searching for an alternative solution as we speak, Kirra.
Kirra: Good. I did not build the army so it could perish right after. Any other news to report?
Centor: Another quake to the north has sunken part of the land. The situation is grim.
Cykok: Our land may sink before we strike!
Kirra: Already, I am learning how to slow down the process. It will take time, but all will be in order. Trust in me, and soon, all of your concerns will be laid to rest.
A shadow flies over them from the ceiling window. A man-sized vulture-like creature lands into the room. It has a skull-like head with needle-like teeth protruding outwards, four eyes, long legs with three clawed toes, a hunched back, and large, bat-like wings. Kirra looks at the beast with anticipation.
Kirra: Ah, Kwavin returns, with good news, I trust.
Kwavin blocks the others off with his wing and starts chattering bird-like calls into Kirra's ears quietly. Kirra nods along with the sounds; she is capable of understanding the bird demon's strange calls.
Kirra: Interesting. Gentlemen, 14 guests have appeared in our land, and seek an audience with us. Minos, show them into the castle.
Minos: With pleasure, Queen Kirra.
The Nightmare Minotaur walks out of the castle, and at the entrance, he is greeted by what appears to be 14 elves with gray hair and a light brown skin, as well as a strange gem-like feature on all of their foreheads, all red.
Minos: What business brings you to Tartarus?
Rhomasko: I am Emperor Rhomasko. We are the Dokklafar. We are observers and prophets from beyond this realm. We have come to tell the queen her destiny, and to offer aid for her cause.
Minos: By all means, do come in.
Minos leads Rhomasko and the other Dokklafar in. The other demons look at the strange new arrivals. Hax gets a look at Ecelu the Dokklafar Chamberlain. Oh the Chamberlain's shoulder is a strange bird-like creature. It has multiple eyes, a beaked head with teeth that opens into six parts like a flower, long quills on the neck, a single clawed leg, and beetle-like wings.
Hax: What a strange-looking bird.
The bird turns its head around, making a whimpering call, startling the harpy.
Ecelu: No no, Skek. It's not time to eat yet.
Skek whimpers again as they continue on. In her throne room, Kirra sees the 14 elf-like beings enter her room. She looks at them curiously. She had heard legends of elves, but these ones looked... different. As if they were almost alien.
Minos: They call themselves the Dokklafar, Your Majesty.
Kirra: Dokklafar? What land to you hail from?
Rhomasko: Our old home is far from here, on another world entirely.
Kirra: Oh? Go on.
Phelorna: A great demon destroyed our home world. And it is coming for Earth. To win against its evil, you must seek a path to devotion.
The demons laugh, along with Kirra.
Kirra: Is this a sick joke?
Phelorna: Our scientist, Tunvuss, has calculated the exact time and location it will appear.
Tunvuss: And it is soon. We request immigration to this land. If you accept, we promise to help you eliminate any threat to you.
Kirra: Hmm... show me your capabilities first, prove your worth. Then we will talk.
Rhomasko: Nanzod, Lambalos, Khorzarn. You three know what to do.
Nanzod the Ritual Master, Lambalos the Hunter, and Khorzarn the General depart from the group to make preparations. The Dokklafar get comfortable in places across the castle for the night. Ukrath the Scroll Keeper and Nurshaba the Collector find a quarter for them. Karru the Conquerer finds a place near the lava streams. Ekryth the Treasurer and Adesko the Slave Master are put in charge of the slaves. Monadro the Gourmand tries to steal food, only to get caught. And Vinarth the Ornamentalist redecorates the castle. Tunvuss the scientist is given a special chamber, which he turns into his laboratory; he starts working on a weapon for the Queen. Rhomasko, Phelorna, and Ecelu become Kirra's primary consultants.
----------
Outside the castle, Nanzod, Lambalos, and Khorzarn find three giants: the Hellrachnid, the Leviathan, and the Kraken. The giant monsters attack them, but the three Dokklafar show impressive skills, using powerful blasts and psychic-based powers, hardly having to move. The alien elves receive minor injuries, but they keep fighting, with Lambalos being the most aggressive. Once Lambalos and Khorzarn immobilize the beasts, Nanzod conducts a ritual that enslaves them. Almost willingly, the demons bow to the Dokklafar, who then take them to the castle. Kirra comes out, impressed with their skills.
Kirra: The Kraken? And the Leviathan? And the Hellrachnid too? But how? I've tried to tame them for years.
Nanzod: We incapacitated them first, then I cast a spell using a Dokklafar Crystal. As long as they are intact, the one who holds the crystals can control those they enslave. Consider it a gift.
Nanzod offers the crystal to Kirra, who takes it and wears it around her neck. Tunvuss then comes out of the castle, with a large sword in his hands.
Kirra: And what is this?
Tunvuss: A special blade I engineered just for you, All Mighty Kirra. A weapon worthy of a queen.
Kirra investigates the sword curiously. She then looks at one of her orcs, and stabs it. To everyone's surprise, the orc turns to stone. It falls over due to the momentum of its last pose, and it shatters upon impact with the ground. Kirra grins a deliciously evil smile, and laughs with delight.
Kirra: You Dokklafar have exceeded all of my expectations so far. Tonight, we feast in celebration.
Later that day, the Tartarans and Dokklafar have a mighty feast. Delicious food lay around. While Kirra and the Dokklafar ate with good manners, Kirra's Tartaran servants ate like pigs. Minos started to choke, prompting a nearby orc to slap him on the back until he spat his food out.
Minos: Idiot!
Minos hits the orc, sending him back. One of the harpies waiting for scraps tries to get to the Dokklafar food.
Harpy: Are you gonna eat that?
Khorzarn: Touch my plate, and you will draw back a bloody stump!
Harpy: Touchy.
Ukrath: This is a day to remember.
Nurshaba: So much special artifacts to give and take.
Vinarth: And what better place to celebrate than in this beautiful castle?
Monadro: More food!
Ecelu feeds a scrap of food to Skek, who whimpers with delight.
Phelorna: I propose a toast. A toast to Tartarus!
Kirra: To Tartarus!
All: To Tartarus! Cheers!
They ching their wine glasses and drink as they continue to celebrate. Rhomasko looks at Kirra, with a nearly malicious intent.
Rhomasko: All shall be according to God's will...
