Why do you despise children? Didn't you used to be one? I'm not judging; Just asking because as a child I am curious...

daithe In reply to PJatOluv [2012-03-09 17:21:41 +0000 UTC]
LOL I don't mind you asking at all :'D
It's not really that I have an all-consuming hate of children, I just hate being around them. I find them incredibly annoying, with their attention-seeking and their obvious questions, and somewhat tiresome to be around, because they aren't particularly interesting to talk to. I get irritated when they cry for no good reason. I rarely think children are cute. My friends tell me I have a skewed, bitter view on childhood >_>
I think it's MY problem, basically, there's nothing wrong with kids. I'm just bad at dealing with them.

I KNOW! I have a couple of friends that are EXACTLY like that! It's SO annoying! But they're sweet so I'll put up with them.

OMIGOSH. ASA BUTTERFIELD IS AAAAWWEESOME. Please please watch that film, it's amazing and beautiful and you won't regret it. dsafhgalgfr i cried at that film. In the cinema. In front of all those strangers. I DON'T REGRET IT.
Thank you!! I remember the hand being awfully difficult =__= there were several attempts, I believe.
I was avoiding the angle...but I didn't realise until a week after I'd uploaded it that I was trying to use it less =___= I must be getting senile. But I'm glad it works, and actually, I'm glad I did tilt the picture - I was kicking myself when I realised but I'm over it now. Ahahaa.
It's a clock - if you watch the film/read the book/read the blurb/watched trailer, it would tell you why. Essentially, it's a clock AND a window.
THANK YOU AGAIN. <3 <3 <3

Ohhhhh I see. Well, the easiest way to go about it is to get the software and hardware you need, so: digital tablet (like this [link] or something similar), and a paint program - I use Paint Tool SAI, which is quite popular, but others prefer photoshop. C: You can download free trials off the internet to try out which one you like best. There are also loads of tutorials around the internet, so you shouldn't have much of a problem figuring out what to do. Hope this was helpful!

Aww thank you, I'm very flattered! Asa Butterfield is awesome. AWESOME.
I'm not entirely sure how you could draw like this :'> do you mean how to draw digitally, or in anime/manga style??

Thank you very much!! Asa is an astonishing actor for such a young kid :'> I don't think I've ever seen a person that young do well in a film, and Asa is even better than some adult actors...

It really is. It inspired me to write more. And it's got like 530 pages or something, but half of them are these really cool hand-drawn black and white pictures that are to die for. And the text isn't that hard to read.

Yeahhh the movie was so amaaaaaaazing and OMG asa was brilliant :'D
Mediums? Hahaa I only use Paint Tool SAI - this picture is entirely digital. I used a texture, which might be why it looks otherwise. :>

woww...that'd be hard, Ive never tried digital art but it sounds tricky :/ I feel the exact same way as you, I was totally in shock-mode after watching the movie. superrrrrrrrr-brilliant

daithe In reply to HazelRah-Part5 [2011-12-31 22:16:27 +0000 UTC]
Aww no, it's not hard - you just need the hardware (i.e. a tablet) and the software. It's the same as traditional, really, except you can't wreck the paper from erasing too much. ^^
And of course you have to learn how to use the software, but that's probably less work compared to mastering a new traditional medium. There are benefits to both traditional and digital, but I wouldn't say that one is harder than the other - it's just preference.
; _ ; I'm totally buying the dvd.

It's cool to find a deviant who is as INLOVE with that movie as I am! I agree, the moment that dvd comes out, I'm dashing to the store.

YAY!
This is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. And the fact it was set in the 1930s in Paris is even better <3
I want it on DVD now. I want to watch it over and over... Now. *sigh* In love.
