Description Some reposts (new edits)

Once again, please forgive me if you have seen some of these before. I am in the midst of learning about editing, so I will occasionally go through my favorite shots and try out some of the editing tips I have learned, mostly just to improve sharpness and contrast.

Thanks for looking! And for tolerating my newbiness.

what is it they're doing when they take this pose?

i'm really not sure.dragonflies perch a lot. This is a typical perching position for them. Basically, it just seems as if they are resting and getting some sun. They always choose sunny places to perch, which makes it difficult to get decent shots of them without risking over-exposure. If one of my other dragonfly shots (Jewel) is in a hand-stand kinda position, and I think that might be a mating position, but it's just a guess on my part.

well they're really fantastic shots and if i lived in a sunny place such as you do i feel as though i'd see more dragons perching... but alas... too cold and snowy... boy that would be a shot though, one of those red ones against the pure whiteness of snow... i can imagine it... but i may never see it... *sad face* ;oj

lol. I would trade you the dragonflies for the snow...at least for a little while. Florida has lots of cool insects, but only tow seasons- Summer and not-quite-Summer. I miss the cold.

The light reflecting off the eyes almost make it look cartoony, but not in a bad way. I'm reminded of the dragonfly "Evinrude" from Disney's "The Rescuers". lol
