Decided to upload another John Ball Zoo photo and it's been a long time since I have uploaded a new Snow leopard photo to DA. This guy had a big enclosure with lots of rocks to climb and rest on. It was very easy to blur out the wiring and get the cat in great focus, I took a lot of photos of him in this spot since he didn't move around to a different spot during my visit so I only really need to upload this one. Taken at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 15th 2013.Related content

Really great photograph! 
I hardly ever get to photograph the snow leopards at the zoo near my house because they have a lot of places to hide in the enclosure, and instead of having wire mesh there's a super filthy glass window. Super filthy. I don't even know how it manages to stay so dang filthy, even up past the reach of small greasy child fingers.

He blends in quite well to the rocks, doesn't he? This is a really nice photo. You really did great cutting out the wiring. You're making me jealous haha. It's too bad those lazy big cats don't like to move around very much huh?
