Last picture I took on my birthday of the Toledo Zoo's white lions. This picture focuses more closely on the mane of this particular lion. Taken at Toledo Zoo in Toledo, Ohio on July 29th, 2012. In this shot, the way the lion's head is positioned reminds me of a dignified king peering across the horizon of his kingdom.Related content

Thanks! It's a great shot, and I like I managed to catch much detail in the mane and overall head of this particular lion. Lucky day it was, and good use of my telephoto lens also helped.
