Inktober #19 - PLUMP -

Continuing her way the little witch and her two little star companions came across a wooden fence enclosing a big field.
Pumpkins of various sizes and colors were growing all over it.

Wiwi took the path right through the countless pumpkins, admiring them with a shine in her eyes as anything pumpkin-related actually was her favorite food!
After almost crossing the entire field the growing pumpkins around her thinned out revealing a particularly big and plump one sitting there all by itself.

The little witch looked at it curiously and came closer, when all of a sudden -
A shine seemed to etch itself into the pumpkin and carving a glowing face right in front of her!

Wiwi couldn't believe her eyes. "H-Hello?", she asked carefully.
"Niiihihhihi", a strange voice giggled, coming from within the pumpkin.
Strangely enough its face didn't move at all. Only the glowing face seemed to flicker a bit when it continued to speak.

"A little witch I see, the chosen one she may very well be.
With treasure in hands, scouring the lands.
Her goal she almost found, with two guardians bound."

Wiwi blinked. "Wait... are you talking about me?"

"Niiihihihihi!
Frozen depths she must wander into, dare I say.
Over the creek, crawling cliffs, however challenging it may.
Go, little witch, find your shine...
und möge er endlich sein auf ewig Dein.
Nihihihihi."

And with that the glowing face vanished, leaving behind an ordinary but still very plump pumpkin.
The little witch looked at it very confused now and gently touched it, but nothing happened.
"How... weird. What did I say? Frozen depths, a creek, cliffs... is that supposed to tell me where to go? And what was that last sentence?
It seemed like a different language?!"

Wiwi looked around and found a path leading up to the mountain regions.
The two stars didn't say anything and just looked a bit satisfied again.
With a last glance towards the pumpkin she shrugged and made her way up that way.
