Description Inktober #2 - SPIDERS -

"So... you two little guys are going to help me find my spark?", Wiwi said with a hint of suspicion in her voice.
"Yes, yes!", the tiny star dangling onto the tip of her hat said excited. "Twinkle and Twack are going to help you! We need to search far and wide. Twinkle can feel it!"
"Yes, yes, just trust us!", Twack said and nodded causing him to bounce up and down on Wiwi's collar.

Wiwi frowned while they were walking through the forest, not too far from her home.
"We can feel it. Hints, at least.", Twack added while keeping an eye out for the path. Wiwi sighed.
After waking up this morning she got up and dressed like she normally did - until she looked into the mirror and saw these two tiny little guys attached to her clothing, smiling brightly at her.

"Wait a second... I know where we are going!", Wiwi suddenly shouted out. "Ohhh no, no, no, I won't go in there!"
Twinkle looked at her with confusion. "But... you need to go in there in order to find your spark! Twinkle can feel it!"

They approached a small cave entrance, light shining into revealing what looked like a harmless place filled with rocks.
"Y-you don't know what's in there! T-There are...", Wiwi stuttered, clinging to the entrance and sinking down to her knees.
"...spiders!", she whispered.

The stars frowned and tried to catch a glimpse of what was hiding in the cave in front of them.
With everyone turning quiet there was a soft rustling sound emerging from between the rocks. Small spiders were crawling on the cave walls, the rocks around, on the floor as well.
Twinkle once again looked at Wiwi who was squinting her eyes and shivering. "You can do it...!", he whispered softly.

A couple minutes passed and Wiwi took a deep breath.
If that is really the way to find her spark, she has to pull herself together and get over this stupid fear.
Often enough she was laughed at for jumping whenever she saw a spider back at school. Which there were a lot of as it was a very old, rustic building.
Witches shouldn't be afraid of spiders! They belong to them just as cats do, as frogs do, as bats do...

Still shivering she carefully took a step into the cave. Immediately the rustling sound became louder and the spider movements more hectic.
Wiwi flinched and immediately turned back and ran out into the light... not noticing one tiny spider clinging to her hat and hiding in the fabric.

"I can't do it! I just can't!! There has to be another way to find my spark!", Wiwi cried out, cowering with her back turned to the cave and a small tear running down her cheek.
The stars looked at Wiwi, not judging her for what she couldn't do, unlike others before.

"It's okay.", Twinkle softly whispered. "The important thing is that you tried."
