Stardate 12103.9 Time Index 103922: Just did some minor tweaking to Euge—*ahem* Willis' "profile."

FINALLY, a DTK picture! A quick FYI, Digi-Trek Koushiro (or DTK) is a Digimon/Star Trek fanfic that I wrote (and is now on hiatus), which features the Digimon cast in the 24th century, as they go off on their continuing mission to explore strange new worlds and do whatever the heck Picard and co. did.

This pic started out as a quick sketch I did the other night. I was doing some more experimental drawings of the DTK cast in DP-style. It's definitely a challenge going from anime to DP. I never actually inteded to colour it in Photoshop. I had actually done thick outlines in pencil and was just gonna shade it in, but decided to colour it at the last minute. I tend to do lots of things at last minute. XD

Well, here's a not-so-quick rundown of the characters.

Capt. Izzy Izumi - Obnoxiously moronic Commanding Officer of the USS Koushiro. How Izzy became a Captain is a mystery worthy of being featured on "Unsolved Mysteries." In a nutshell, Izzy hates his crew, and they hate him even more. The Admiralty hates him the most. Notoriously trigger-happy, Izzy often is the one who fires the first shot in a battle, and the first to panic once hit. He's also a fascist bastard who doesn't trust anybody who can't speak English, and won't hesitate to open fire on them. Diplomacy is definitely NOT in his vocabulary.

Lt. Willis Eugene Paris - Angry, hard-headed, and foul-mouthed hotshot pilot from Colorado. Willis (NOT Eugene—call him that, and he'll kill you) lost both his parents to the Borg. First his father at Wolf 359, and then his mother during the Incursion of 2373, when he was 7. After that, he was pretty much on his own. Often the target of Izzy's sour attitude, along with Ryo and Henry, Willis is probably like the likeliest candidate to stage a mutiny against the Captain. Surprisingly enough, despite his apparently rebellious nature, Willis is quick to follow orders and carry out duties asked of him—as long as it wasn't Izzy who gave out the order. He often keeps to himself and doesn't talk much, and is actually a pretty nice guy. Just never around Izzy. VERY distantly related to Lt. Tom Paris aboard the USS Voyager.

Willis fits nicely into the character-with-tragic-soap-opera-ish-lif e category. XD

And Izzy, well...Izzy's just plain mean.

O...kay...I kinda went a bit in-depth there. It's fun writing out character profiles.

Well, the story behind the pic...is, uhh...let's see, Willis finally stages that mutiny against Izzy, I guess. The craptacular background was an edited pic of the Enterprise-D bridge. I suck at backgrounds, so yeah. I had actually planned to have the two engaged in a swear-a-thon, but I decided to hold back and keep the dialogue PG.

Aaaaanyways, I'm rambling once more! XD
