Hi, really breathtaking, though, when see in full sized I can see the brush strokes. Is that wanted? Old painter such as Ingres, or Jacques-Louis David used to add thin and transparent layers of oil painting in order to get perfect skin transparency and look. That is the technique I use myself, in concrete I use Dammar varnish, which I add blended with turpentine in very well calculated proportions to my oil, in order to get the previous layer to dry and be able to add a new one. I guess watching your art that you may not know this particular technique, and using it in your own art may open to you new realms of achievement and perfection.
Your art is really great, stunning, and professional. Moreover the babyΒ΄s so cute and lovely! ^^

I know that is your goal. Though, photography already do it. So why waste your time painting things that can already be photographed? That is why I paint fantasy Art, as it is the real art of today, the only field where you can still paint hyper-realistic with a sense of what you doing and continuing with the odd art tradition. IΒ΄ll be pleased to give you advices on painting and how to get more hyper realistic or how to use better oil or any medium. Thus think about the mean of painting. Which is the finality to paint? Only portraits, still life, landscapes? That is? But Photo isnΒ΄t here for that? Painting allows you to explore your mind, it is a mean to rake shots of your mind. Now that we are at least free to represent reality, we should use our talent paint the unseen and the dephts of our soul. Cos that is what art is for.

hi there, to do portrait is really hard if you want to catch the soul of the people you are painting: their expression, their stand, their feelings, their gaze... That is real art and cannot be done with photo, for photography is a cold eye, which get the perfect likeness in a row.. So what you try to do is very complicated and real Art, I am not guessing that. I hope someday you come to fantastic art, as you should be one of the greatest artist in that field! take care!
