Okay, the anatomy is just atrocious on this one! Especially that hand! I think I redrew it 200 times! XD I think I have been staring at it for too long so I'm gonna ask you guys for your opinions. I really want to make this picture look nice since I'm thinking of putting it in the Anthrocon art show. Thanks for your help in advance![Col-erase blue pencil and .05 mechanical pencil on cardstock]

...well i see the anatomy problems, but i like it anyways... it gives it a strangely nice stylization ^o^
erm... really the only thing i can think of is that the left arm's sleeve thingy looks a little too um... well, sorta like it's not exactly attached to the arm... i think the perspective is a little off on it... but other than that seriously 
then again i'm not great at anatomy either... >.>;;; er...
...coming back after a little while helps too though, gives you time to clear it from your mind, y'know? ^-^ anyways yah...
besides, someone else probably wrote that already XP

Well, I like the picture, but I tend to agree that the nose looks a bit small... I dunno. The hand, btw, probably looks weird because of the fingers... looks kinda mannish, which is okay if that's what you're going for, but I don't think it was... But, I'm sure you'll get it before the con! Even if you don't, it's a heck of a lot better than most of the anthro artists out there, floating around on the web...

Besides the hands, which everyone else has pointed out, my only crit would have to be the end of her muzzle. It looks a bit too squared, so perhaps if you rounded it a bit more, it would give her features a softer look. Aside from that small bit, I really like how it's come along n_n The light blue coloring is a creative touch, and I like your style of shading. Above all, I like her eyes. the way they're angled makes me think of China or Japan, and her hair style adds to it. Lovely job

Beautiful drawing! I love her face and her hairstyle. About the hand, it's too large, and the fingers are square and don't taper towards the ends, so it looks kinda masculine. I would make the hand smaller, and taper the shapes of the fingers, and add just the suggestion of female fingernails to the thumb and index finger. Also I would get rid of the little vertical lines between the tops of the knuckles and the place where the fingers separate from the hand. I hope that helps!

elbow folds need work, the fabric would probably be doubling up on itself, not just mildly wrinkled.
and the transition from neck to jaw [or lack of?] seems a little off. she should have some sort of lower skull structure in there somewhere, whether in the form of a chin or fangs or lip... just to see it's there. and the neck looks like it's not twisting, like her head is naturally sideways. continue the line from the bottom of her snout a little more, I think.
her eyes seem a little souless, without focus... like she's dead and not looking at anything.
no claws?
and the shoulders are awesome.

Hmmm...I think her left arm is a tad short. I think you may be right about her had too. Heheheheh, but then again, intentionally making some body parts bigger to make them stand out more is a part of ancient art history.
Despite your concerns, this is still a pretty cool pic.

A good way to see if something look "off" or wrong, look at it as a reflection, that it! Hold it up in front of a mirror, trust me, it works!

Really cool asian theme. I have the same proplem (and I have pleanty to spare) with hands. I often whimp out and try to hide them away. I realy like the effect created by the blue. I also can't wait to see it inked!

I think the main concerns that I had have already been addressed. I think the problem with the uppper arm is that it's quite thin in comparrison to the shoulder. It would look better if it were fleshed out slightly, especially on the side going into her chest. If you made it arc into her chest in a curve, instead of abruptly coming in at a flat angle for her sleeve, it would look more natural.
Can't wait to see the finished product ^_^

It doesn't look bad, but the small snout sorta makes the head look small. I wasn't sure if it was the snout of if the head was actually small, so i just said snout.
