Just some coot chicks I painted today, I like how they turned out, but the water not so much.Really ugly little guys aren't they...

I used to work in wildlife and I raised many a baby coot. I used to think they looked like little old bald men. When you go to feed them they stick out their wing and tip from side to side. It is very cute.

Yeah, but when they grow up they have claws that can gut you and they go right for the belly!!!
