I wanted to draw something snowy. AND some Mew-fanart. YES.

Uh.
Okay, most of those who also play PokΓ©mon will laugh at me now, but anyway: I started to play my Red Edition again (that is like woooah, nostalgia-flash! D: ) and i tried the Mew Glitch for the very first time: And it worked, OMG. I caught my very first Mew! <3
You know, when i was young (and the world only knew 151 PokΓ©mon back then - ah, those glory, manageable times
), the question of getting Mew was quite THE terrific topic. Even now, I think my heart stopped for a second when that Mew actually appeared on my display. XD I called it "Immer". (German for "Always") And it grows. OMG, i have a Mew.
And yes, i also have a Vulpix called Sin.
Will become a Ninetails very soon. Yes. I'm eleven again. Ignore me. D:

Ah the first 151 Pokemon. Good times.
I remember the mew glitch. I don't remember how we did it exactly (I was probably around 5yrs or so), but my brother and I were able to do it a few times and trade with eachother so I had 3 mews. Hooray for glitches.

SO true. I always felt so disappointed about the official way of getting Mew (Nintendo events and such...damn it, i'm way too busy to visit such an event. D: ), but i wanted a Mew SO very badly and got jealous like hell about those who had an actual Mew. It really was THE topic in every class. XD

That is awesome, and I must say, that if I had had the money I would have gotten into it so much more. But hey, thatβs what happens when you're 9 years old and the F***ing child labor laws make it so you canβt work to have the money to buy stuff to goof off with lol. I simply LOVE this picture. I was a major fan, and the original 151 were the best. I didn't mind the next set with the Gold and Silver versions though. My favorite was Yellow Edition, and I've never seen a Mew on any of the games.
