Am I correct in assuming that this is from an old folk story? I'v eheard a story with a rabbit and a coyote before, where the rabbit ended up in the fire, but I can't really remember it very well.
Anyway, this is beautiful. I like how the shape of the rabbit can be seen several times in the smoke, and how it drifts over the coyote and drifts down itno the pile of ash. The way you melded the colors of the fire and smoke and ash is really neat. It's a smooth, yet also very sharp transition ebtween orange, blue and gray. Very nice.

This is really beautiful. I love the color contrast between the blues and oranges and the simplicity of the design works well with the message. It took me a while before I saw the rabbits. It really brings the point across and adds an extra level of interest to an already interesting piece.
