Eridan Ampora stepped in his cape nearly caught in the door as it slammed shut. You wanted to strangle him but in your current condition you couldn't do anything. That didn't stop you from trying though. He walked over to the bed and bent down, his face directly in yours. He smelled of ocean which was quite strange seeing as there was no ocean nearby. Your eyes still hurt whenever you tired to focus. Red spread across your face at the same rate as his purple from the closeness. "Wwhy didn't you meet me at the mall as promised? You said you help me make Fef jealous!"
His voice make your head feel as though nails were being hammered into your skull. All at once as well. "S-sorry."
His eyes scanned you over to see what was wrong. You were normally hyper and completed your promises. He did not want you to be angry at him, he did not want to lose a friend and possible matesprit. He would really go with anyone who wanted to fill a quadrant with him. He would really like it if it were you or Fef though. He did have high standards after all. "What is wwrong? Are you dying?"
You managed to say that you had a migraine and to no surprise he had no idea how to deal with this. He looked around on the internet and decided that he would care for you in this state but you owed him big time.
During the time he took care of you, which was around 13 hours, he tried to become quiet but he was clumsier than he led on and tripped over his cape multiple times. He doesn't help that your floors were naturally slippery. He went through all your cabinets trying to find 'proper' medicine and food. He asked you questions multiple times which made you mad from the pain yet strangely happy that he cared about your well being. At least you told yourself that. You thought that he only cared for Feferi, seeing that she is what he talks about most of the time. He probably doesn't know about her and Sollux yet than. He would be furious and hurt no doubt but you would be with him. He would find some other female troll or human and go after her. It was a cycle. You gave up hope that he would think of you as more than a friend or moirail. Your migraine dulled down enough that you could move around but it still had to be dark. You got him to sit with you on the couch and you just talked. Your voices got loud sometimes but wwhatevver as he always says.
The sun soon set on your little get together but he didn't want to leave just yet. It wasn't a problem as you weren't going to sleep anyway. You put in a movie. The title was Con Air, it was a gift from your cousin John Egbert. He had a great taste in movies. Around midnight Eridan fell asleep on your shoulder. You barely moved in fear of waking him up. He smiled in his sleep sometimes and it was the cutest thing in the world. You rested and eventually succumbed to sleep.
The next morning you shook Eridan awake and he tried to play it cool. He set up plans for you to meet him at the mall tomorrow. He said to wear your best clothes. You tried to ask why but he wouldn't tell you. The only thing he actually said about the invitation was that he wants to do something important. You honestly couldn't wait.
