[PERSONALITY] ::
Conceited in a very ..."charming" way, yet secretly insecure. Huo learned how to manipulate people into thinking he's pretty humble but it's kind of his way of fishing for compliments. Despite this, he isn't a mean or conniving person! His ego just gets in the way of his thinking sometimes, thus he makes pretty illogical decisions. He attempts to be decent and conservative in public but he normally likes to flaunt his image and can't help being very flashy during battles.

Huo also enjoys the company of others and is very sociable. He gets kind of loud when he's excited or worked up, so he comes off as sort of obnoxious during parties, but he's just dense. He also likes hot things.

[BACK STORY] ::
Born and raised in Lavaridge Town, he loved the hot heat of his hometown and trained with now-Gym Leader Flannery as his childhood friend. He had a relatively busy home life with three other siblings that he had to share a small space with.

He left Lavaridge when he was 15 to stay with an aunt in Johto, but began to move around to the newer regions a year later. He spent some time training in the regions' various gyms before taking on the entirety of Hoenn (and finally beating Flannery at something for once gg). When Huo was about to take on that region's Elite 4, he was scouted for his talent of taking out the 8 gyms in a little under 10 months (even though his health kinda suffered because of that LOL). Then at 18 he became Fire Gym Leader for Ashwood City. He was kinda choppy at the job at the beginning, but after a couple years he became a little more used to his job, although still somewhat reckless at what he does. He's still sorta bitter about not being able to battle the Elite 4 LOL

[POKEMON] ::
Canis (Arcanine): Huo's first Pokemon when he was 13. He found Canis as a Growlithe digging in his backyard. Their relationship is very close and Huo has a special place in his heart since Canis always protected him during his childhood.

Rizzy (Charizard): Personality-wise, Rizzy is the closest to her trainer. She shares the same demeanor as Huo-- flashy and loud but sweet deep down. He met her when she was already a Charmeleon. Huo doesn't use Rizzy for battle as often and mostly has her take him around places because who needs a car or plane??

Blob (Magmar): Blob is one of the powerhouses of the team next to Canis. Blob is usually quiet and doesn't interact much with the rest of the Pokemon. Huo obtained Blob through a trade since both of the Pokemon in the transaction had more of an innate compatibility with the other trainer.

Mach (Rapidash): The other girl of the group of boys. But her gender doesn't stop her from being fierce. Unlike Rizzy, she is just hot-headed and not as flashy. Mach has a more temperamental mood, so it's hard to get her to like you.

BB Butterball (Darumaka): Huo doesn't really know how BB joined his team. He just befriended him one day on his travels and BB followed him around during his journey. BB is always happy and doesn't seem to have a mean hair on his head!

Luc (Houndoom): A quiet and brooding character. Luc doesn't seem to like anyone and only barely tolerates Huo because he feeds him. Otherwise he snaps at others and scares small children. However Luc tends to be a lot nicer to Mach..

When he isn't doin'.. "leader stuff," he's out spending his gym salary on clothing. He doesn't really care about it that much because he get's some more income from his part-time modeling job. People sometimes call him the pretty-boy gym leader and don' seem to recognize him for his skill,,,, He sometimes wants to quit the job because of that title but..................it doesn't hurt seeing pictures of himself in a magazine;;;;

Out of his younger siblings, his younger sister looks up to him the most whereas his younger brother is more aloof and doesn't like acknowledging Huo's progress.
