Personality:
Often pleasant with a kind demeanor. He enjoys bringing happiness to others and is very detail oriented. While this is so, Marinus is scared easily and very emotional. He cries if his feelings are hurt and/or when he feels like someone doesn't like him. He also likes to attach himself to people and talks about random topics. Really, he's just kind of air-headed.

Power(s):
Poison Control: Acclamation to sea anenome allows for some resistance to stinging properties of toxins. This also allows for the utilization of similar venomous barbs (his ear cuffs) for paralysis without being too affected when in contact. Despite the "resistance," coming into too much contact with concentrated toxins within a few hours does, however, cause temporary paralysis.

Sea Green Thumb: Rapid stimulation of algae growth to create terrain and boundaries for a variety of purposes, such as protection. Though before algae is dense enough, he must tend the growth constantly. This causes him to lose peripheral focus and not be able to instinctively move away from danger as it nears.

Biography:
Although born in the open sea, Marinus was collected by exotic pet store suppliers and raised in tanks with other damselfish he didn't know. After a while, not many people purchased damselfish at a particular store, so they shipped the stock back to the suppliers. It was a boring and plain world living in those tanks when finally Marinus was first sent to his first aquarium. Unfortunately his stay was cut short and he was sent back due to overcrowding. Needing to clear their stock and make room for newer fish species, the fish suppliers sent the remainder fish to Ushimitsudoki Aquarium where he found permanant residence.
