This is an angry-red remix of my piece Gotcha.Update
Thanks so much for the Daily Deviation, and for those that have commented since. A lot of people have asked what it is, or given that it's abstract, what it kind of is.
Here is the original sketch
...and the first piece I made off it (Gotcha) , which is vectors drawn directly over the sketch
The form has the long, wrapping "arm" which almost fully encloses the space around it. To me, when I was drawing it the form looked like something grabbing or capturing. Although I didn't specifically have robot in mind it's fair that people think that because the top section does look like an abstract head.

This piece makes me furious. My mind keeps on trying to arrange it into some recognizeable object, and it works for one-sixth of the picture, but then it keeps falling apart when I try to integrate it. The tension is unbearable - I get neither the peace of a familiar sight nor the pleasant despair of genuine abstraction, just constant, fruitless turmoil. No sarcasm, this is brilliant. How on earth did you do it? I cannot conceive how you achieved that effect of it almost looking like twenty different things at once. Was it an accident?

I've updated the description with some info about what it is, and a link to the original sketch in my scraps which should piece it together as much as possible.
My style does often involve lots of disjointed geometric shapes, so that might explain the looking like twenty things at once.

Yeah; it's a lot easier to take it in in the sketch, especially without the clipping. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
Probably the worst part (best part) is the golden, trigger-guard shaped thing. It absolutely throws off my frame of reference no matter which part of the picture I approach it from. And you put it RIGHT IN THE CENTER.

I love the tension in this piece, it almost looks like an object, which intrigues the viewer. Good job!

I look at it right side up, and it kind of seems like an angry robot. But, when I looked at it upside-down, it looks kind of like a futuristic apartment. In one angle, I kind of see some sort of robot animal, and at another, I see Cthulu. XD
I think this is a great abstract piece. Very mysterious, and the color pattern leaves a sort of emotional imprint.

Angry robot is not far off. I think it's this red colour scheme that gives the anger.

It's cropped out of this version. On the drawing, and the original Gotcha it's the long section across the foreground.
