Description Done as an experiment with a not often used crochet stitch. When done with consistant tension, it allows the piece to be cross-stitched upon by creating small boxes like those found on adia cloth. Why Zelda for my first mat? Because it's awesome. While I designed this to be a door mat, it could easily be used in a bathroom or at the kitchen sink as a rug, as it is very soft and comfy to stand on. ^_^

Made out of acrylic yarn, mat measures about 1.5' x 3'. The triforce and border were added on after crocheting the mat by using a modified cross-stitch technique and regular crochet.

Time: Approx. 8 - 12 hours.

I can certainly make another one. Sadly I'm about to take a trip to visit my fiancee for a week so I wouldn't be able to start on it until the 22nd of August. If that's not to long of a wait then just let me know.

Hmm, that is an excellent question....It was either half double crochet or just single crochet...probably just single crochet so it would be a tight knit for the cross-stitch being done over it.

Thanks It's not too hard to do, just takes a lot of time and experience with crocheting.
