I added the background!
So excited. I love it.
It doesn't look nearly as good via camera than it does IRL, but I had to share anyways. The colors are more vibrant and the person actually stands out against the background. Here it all kinda blends in. But whatever.This was so fun to do.
I need to watercolor more often!Totally bringing this into work tomorrow. Gonna even frame it and hang it for awhile. Very happy.
No critiques please. If ya ain't got nothin' nice to say, please keep it to yourself.
Watercolors, about 30 hours. Fifth or sixth watercolor I've ever done.

oh god yes. i swear, i absolutely swear, in the next year i'm making a commission of for danny from the louder now fic. i'm telling her drew fuller is the ref. just not sure which of the two i want first:
danny on a stool under a puddle of light, bent over his acoustic guitar with a shot glass and a mic lined up next to him or...
danny fronting with the rest of the band, singing into said mic onstage. this would be him in that tight black shirt i love.

it's going to be expensive, but she's so good, and i know she can do it.

Personally I'm not a fan of the movie, but WOW, AWESOME WORK! You're brilliant with those watercolours, y'know.
If you did a little bit of Photoshopping, you could probably get it to look more like the physical version of the picture.
