Susan Meredith Isley was born in Chicago, Illinois to Jim and Janet Isley. As a child, she suffered from chronic migraines, which were the earliest signs of her powers surfacing, her superhuman senses overwhelming her as each sensation bombarded her. It made it difficult for her education, and she was home-schooled until she finally managed to master her senses. Lakeview High would be the site of her adolescent exploration, the first real socializing she’d done.
