Actually...I live about 15 min away from Tahoe...we go to Emerald Bay in our boat every week during the summer. That's a lovely shot, it's refreshing from all the pics you see on postcards

This is so clear, to be able to see the ripples on the water so clearly and yet the mountains are still in focus is a hard job! Well done!!

Wow - breathtaking view! I'm instantly reminded of those famous 'Group of Seven' paintings that highlight shorelines in Northern Ontario - the tall Jack pines overlooking lakes and vast expanses of hills and mountain ranges. I really like the perspective that you've chosen - it makes the evergreens here really stand out from their surroundings - and boy, do they ever have a beautiful backdrop to stand out against
THe colours are superb - I really like the slight gradient change that you can see here. I think those purple hues in the sky compliment the blue tones of the water perfectly - and fit in nicely with the dark tones of the shadows. Very well taken!
