Description The Rosy Tad is one of the largest of the tads. It's colour although ordinarily bright in isolation, when in it's natural habitat blends perfectly with the brilliant pink cast off leaves of the Sanguin Tree and rust coloured sands of it's home rivers.

It was only after I coloured it that I realised I already have a pink tad in my collection of tads. Ah well.

Is that cute, smiling mouth toothless, or full of dangerous needles? Either way, I bet he can bite off a lot more than he can chew!

No teeth I think, just sandpaper like pads. Imagine being rasped to death!

I'm picturing rows and rows of oddly human teeth, pacu-style!

Ok, so, this really appeals for many reasons, but I like it best because it really drives home the idea that there are 2 sets of dichotomous legs! It wasn't immediately obvious from the thumb, and I kinda thought it was diplocaulus or gerrothorax, so when zooming in it was a nice surprise! I can see this thing being quite large!

I like the idea of poorly developed hind limbs as it emphasises the idea that these are neotenic adults.
I am glad that size came across. Playing around with the distort tool helps
