In vol. 9 Udo Akira, the leader of Behemoth, is so cool. I was impressed by his fierce fighting and his sacrifice. Suddenly I felt an urge to draw him with Ren-chan a pic. The idea behind this pic is the double meaning of the "cage" whether it is to limit one's freedom OR to protect the beloved from the cruelty of the outside world.

... Why flying if it takes so much risk? ... Because no bird that cannot fly is happier than a bird in the sky ...

Akira has made a sacrifice. He was born to "fly" but he chose to abandon his "wings" in order to guard the weaklings in the cage. Impressive, ne? I plan to finish this sketch asap. But right now I got 2 more deviations to finish. *sweatdrops*
