Its been awhile since I played with zbrush, but with the release of the latest version i couldn't resist giving it a go again. Been starting these zbrush sculpt sessions with some friends and these are some of the results. mostly 30 minute sessions with some reaching overtime heheh
the buff dude in the middle left is a sculptover from a zbrush sketch my little brother did. he'll be doin some very cool stuff with it soon so keep a lookout 
All done from a basic sphere which isn't very practical but fun nonetheless. Will try to learn zspheres soon so i can proceed to full body sculpts.

thanks! u should give it a try dude its real easy to use for basic sculpting. u can do more complicated things with it but i dunno how to do those heheh

I played and toyed around and I friggin dont get how to build up stuf flike that. ( I get the sculpting basics but not in virtual space ) really good work. I'd love to see you paint over them :3 targete does that more often recently. keep it up

hahah thx dude. this piece [link] actually started out from a paintover. I made a real ugly head sculpt, one of my first ones ever, pasted into photoshop and started sketching.
zbrush is a little different than traditional sculpting but the convenient part is that u can zoom in and out, rotate ur model freely. takes a while to get used to but once you got it down its pretty easy. I only use the basic tools like standard, clay, move, and pinch brush. You can pretty much build anything organic with those except in the micro details stage where you gotta use alpha's.
