Dean was solo surfing at the beach after him and Sam completed a mission in the area. Sam was tired and wanted to go back to the motel and rest while Dean wanted to surf up the waves. After renting a wetsuit and surfboard, Sam was heading back to shore after a long session but felt one of his legs cramp up so badly! Crunching his teeth, he tried to keep afloat as he was still at least 10 feet above the sand below and had waves that were pushing him forward. Embarrassed, he could only shout "help!" while trying to stay above the waves. He was near the pier that went over the water for a bit and the last thing he saw before going under was a figure in green rushing towards him from under the pier and diving into the water.

After another wave passed, he tried to break the surface before feeling another wave of pain from his cramped leg and clutching it. A few moments later, he felt strong arms wrap around his chest and being pushed up towards the surface and then breaking it. Gasping for air, he heard a "hold on tight" as the man he saw last was helping him towards shore. As they were nearing the beach, Dean let him know he got a very bad leg cramp and would need to sit on the beach and massage the area. "Alright, I'll help you sit down" said the man, who later said his name was Oliver and lifted Dean over his shoulders when he could stand on the sand below. Oliver, otherwise known as the Green Arrow, was just preparing to search this part of the ocean for a clue that was related to a mission he had and was just about to put on the rest of his scuba gear under the pier in a hidden area before hearing Dean's shout for help. Quickly zipping up his wetsuit he had half on, he was thankfully able to get to this man just in time.

After sitting Dean down on the beach, he asked what leg had cramped and then lifted up Dean's foot and placing it in his lap before helping to massage his leg. Dean, surprised at his action, couldn't help but moan a little feeling the pain starting to go away. This man was very skillful and had such nimble fingers which was surprising given his strong body, he wondered what line of work he did that used his fingers. Actually...he just remembered he had what seemed like a small quiver of arrows on his back? Thankfully it seems like the arrows were secured at the bottom and didn't fall out. Dang this handsome guy must be really into archery! Maybe they can have an archery contest sometime, he's done plenty of hunting in the forest growing up and felt pretty skilled himself.
