Description Yesterdays moon
Obvious Bloodborne reference
Unfortunately the image isn't bigger, I had the largest resolution on and zoomed in as much as I could (300mm), but yeah... the moon is quite far away

That is awesome! My camera just tries to blur the moon so it looks like there are two moons.

I'm surprised you did that with a normal camera. I though you took that with a fancy pants telescope that has a camera built in.

Well first I'm only at medium level
And then, there are countless advices one could give about photography... you gotta be a bit more specific ^^
What camera do you have and what is your knowledge level? Do you know how aperture, shutter speed and ISO are working together?

bigbubbleHL In reply to Coccineus [2015-08-06 05:23:09 +0000 UTC]

uhm.... noooo o.0 what is a knowledge level or wha'ts apeture, shutter and ISO ? >.< i have a "Canon" xD a very simple and old camera

Coccineus In reply to bigbubbleHL [2015-08-06 06:22:54 +0000 UTC]

lol
The knowledge level is how much you know about something ^^ For example I would say my knowledge level about photography is medium, a lot of my shots are good due to a good equipment really, not so much skill. I still don't know some functions on my camera
So yeah, I think the first step in learning about photography would be practice. But before going out and randomly shoot everything you see, read the manual of your camera, learn its functions so you know what you are doing.

Something I did prior to start taking photos with my Nikon D5300 (which is a dslr [digital single-lens reflex] and not a compact model like the Canon Powershot A2300 I was using up to that point) was looking at pictures taken with that camera to know what is possible. It helps you get an idea of what you can do So just image-google the name of your camera model to see its potential ^^

If your model is not a dslr, there is no point in learning about shutter speed, aperture or ISO (yet), because you can't control that.

Amazing, yesterday night i tried to take a photo of the moon, with my D3200, but no way... just i took horrible light points... i admire you too much, by your photos, and your face

Coccineus In reply to VictorSevilla [2015-08-05 22:37:04 +0000 UTC]

Try opening the aperture to it's max, the wider open it is, the more light will reach the lens

whitneymorris [2015-08-05 15:44:09 +0000 UTC]

Great photo! The moon is very difficult to photograph, yes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Coccineus In reply to whitneymorris [2015-08-05 15:48:45 +0000 UTC]

Actually I was surprised that it wasn't Because of the darkness I had expected a long shutter speed because it was night (whenever I take photos in a darker area, the shutter takes longer, with an increased chance of blurring the image when you move too much). But with the aperture completely open, the light was enough to have a short shutter speed and get a clear image

Haha, yeah ^^ Although I would sometimes replace "fun" with "frustrating"...
I just couldn't beat Martyr Logarius, I think I tried him about 10-15 times and always lost. I was close to killing him a few times, but then ran out of blood vials and lost again ._. I took a break from playing it, 2 or 3 weeks, and when I tried him again I actually beat him first try But I think it was only because he didn't, for some reason, started spamming his magic. He only swung his scythe at me, so I won with 11 blood vials left I'm sure it was a bug

Cool! I was stuck on Rom the Spider for awhile, so I stopped playing Bloodborne for a while, finally, with the help of some other player I finally beat him! :3
