I just finished "Emily Windsnap and the Siren's Secret", and I LOVED IT!I'm not going to give anything away to anyone, but I will say that the story focuses a bit more on Mr. Beeston (Emily's creepy neighbor), and I wondered how he would've looked when he was younger, so I felt inspired to draw this
If there's time, maybe I'll do an aging sheet like this for the other "Emily Windsnap" characters too

It does? Yay! I just read the first book and he's my favorite character, so I'm glad to hear that there'll be more of him....can't say I picture him quite like this, but I may or may not be heavily influenced by the thought of another servile Charles B. I know who has mismatched eyes
