As far as selling prints go, not really. On dA the print artists only make a % of the sale.
As far as originals go, I've sold pieces ranging from $130 to $300 USD.
I couldn't make a living off of it, but I've made enough to feel justified in calling myself a successful artist... which, to me, is all that matters.

<...continued from 'Manifestation">...so I was wrong. What I'm about to say doesn't go to ALL of your drawings, but pretty much most of them which is a LOT anyway. But you have GREAT backgrounds. This is a gorgeous drawing (so don't get me wrong), but this isn't the best example of one of your great backgrounds. But I just had to comment on this one. You do most of your work on black paper, huh? 'Cause even though some of your backgrounds are like WHOA and look complicated... when you have one like this, it's still soo fitting with the whole. Simple, yet perfectly fitting.
I'm also a big fan of Tesaii's work and to see you 2 co-operate like this leaves me all 
Actually, I don't use black paper. I only use white.

The eyes are amazing, you could look at them forever. I was going to say somthing about the top lip needing definition but I looked at the photos of that person and it's bang on, their lip is just smooth like that.

I was wondering, if you are working with charcoal, and you screw up, do you have to start again? From what I've seen of charcoal, it kind of gets everywhere and doesn't go away very well.
