Meet my new next gen baby and first daughter of Twilight Sparkle!

I have a lot to say about her so I’m just gonna break it into some notes to not go all over the place xd
Also, recently I really got into that kinda messy style that I r e a l l y enjoy doing xd it’s kind of liberating not to be bound to exact clear lines, maybe cause I suck doing them lol
And speaking of styles, I kinda unlocked a semi new art style while drawing this gurl. I had a different version before this one but it didn’t look right at all so I googled and looked up so anatomy stuff. I tried to imitate that onto my pose and it turned out to be a very different style but I LOVE it xD also looks for anatomically correct now xD (sadly I cropped the old version out of the picture…)
Also finding the right color palette for her was challenging. I had three different versions but ended up going with the second bc it has something of each parent but still a style of her own.

So now to Morning Haze!

- Haze is the daughter of Twilight, Trixie and Sunset. And her birth was… a rollercoaster. Or better her whole existence.
- I haven’t quite figured out how mares can get foals together but fact is a lot of magic is involved. When Haze was born, involving that kind of magic into „reproducing“ was fairly new and unevolved (I don’t think this is a word c.c).

- When it came to brining a foal into the world that had all the three mares genes at first the three unicorns hit a wall. It was lastly no other than Discord who decided to help out. And though there were doubts, especially on Sunsets side, not knowing Discord as well as the others, they agreed figured out a way together to bring their child into the world.

- lil side note: their method, even if slightly altered, having no chaos magic included for example, later became the get and go for two mares or two stallions wanting to have a child of their own. Though in that time it was heavily criticized.

- So Haze was born with Twilight carrying her and giving birth to her. The mothers were overjoyed. But with Haze growing into her first years it soon became clear that she wasn’t completely normal.

“not a real princess“

- Being born an alicorn was already extraordinary in itself. Before her only Princess Cadence was born an alicorn. But with Twilight already being a princess and declaring her daughter a princess to as her daughter, they handled it well.
- There were two things that caught the ponies eye when looking at Haze. Firstly, her a little too small wings that didn’t seem like she’d ever be able to fly (she did eventually at a later age but still struggles a lot more than others her age). And secondly, her fluffy hair going all the way from her mane over her back up to her tail. It reminded of a dragon‘s scales and she soon got the nickname „dragon-princess“.
- Since she was little everyone had very stoned opinions of the little alicorn. Weither they were good or bad it was far too much to take in for a little foal. All eyes starring at her because she was “weird”, “extraordinary”, “different”. All the critics and loud voices let her grown up with very little self esteem. Her parents always tried the best to support her but they couldn’t change the pony’s opinions.

- As Haze grew older all the attention and fuss around her became less and less. It was more and more normalized that children were birthed with the help of magic and Haze became less interesting. Though some haters always stayed. Leaving Haze to question why she was so different and why she couldn’t be like everyone else. Her younger siblings to come touring out quite “normal” also wasn’t very reassuring.
- With time Haze learned to ignore the negative voices and instead concentrating on herself. She built a wall around herself, toughened up and didn’t let anymore hurt her anymore, making herself a mask for hiding her broken feelings.
- When you meet her now she comes off as a tough but good willing, seemingly outgoing (but actually very ingoing) pony who shows pride in herself and her status as a princess even though many still say she’s not a real princess.
- One thing that she always tries to avoid using is magic. Though she definitely is skilled and talented, her magic seems to be just a bit different from normal unicorn magic, enough to raise questions and attention. Some very few say she has chaos magic, although that’s up to today just a theory since she never showed any sign of having powers similar to Discord.
