With designs I definitely think so! I don't mean the "craft" was innate (although I do think you learned a lot faster than most!), but I meant was your eye for good designs and come up with them is unbelievably good, my ideas are always dumb and I have exceptionally terrible taste.

I've seen a lot of his videos, Although I haven't seen his premium content, I will say after watching them I feel I appreciate his art more than I have learned something. I've seen quite a few creature design videos and I have to say I haven't seen any that has helped me at all unfortunately.
I somewhat agree, I think when you compare artists you can usually tell when something has more taste than others. Especially movies.

hum, ok.
I think the best way to getting the most out of his classes is already knowing the figure drawing, anatomy,  and having a good artistic perception, after doing a lot of observational drawing studies.

I agree but It kind of seems backwards because a lot of his advice from the videos I've seen seem to be for artists who are starting out. I draw from observation on a daily basis and everything else you said (except having a good artistic perception I suppose.) But I still could never reach anything close to your guys level. I'm just always amazed by the level of finish you get.
