Description
Gil in the middle of a street fight with Daria Akel, one of Joy's thughettes. This was the result of an old sketch plus inspiration after watching the awesome fight scenes in The Boondocks. Couldn't find a decent bakground till now, and if I don't rush to complete another idea, this is likely to be really the last one colored drawing completed in 2013.Dedicated to a friend and supporter:

Besides, I wanted to make my characters as individual as possible, giving them different skin colors and traits (like Ming, Daria's Chinese "coworker").

I'm pretty sure Joy doesn't take her religion seriously, since she's a cruel, materialistic bitch who wants to violently hurt a girl who just happened to do better than her in a contest. She's not half-Jewish, she's all bitch.

No, she doesn't. Her dad tries to make her follow it and bring her definitively to his side - and save A LOT on child support - , but she takes her own desires more seriously. Her friends aren't better either.

You know what's sad? I think of Gil, Rodney, and Joy at 18 and up, and the competition is still going on with Joy trying to seduce Rodney... or sending her grown-up thugettes to seduce him.
Rodney - "Gah! It's like the opposite of a harem manga, they're all trying to seduce me just to hurt someone!"
Gil - "How's that the opposite?"
Rodney - "Because harem stories are usually several different gals of varying personalities all falling in love with the same guy. This is a bunch of collective meanness trying to hurt you by getting to me."
Gil - "I see... and how do you know about harem manga?"
Anita - "That would be me."
Gil - "What?! Seriously?!"
Anita - "Well, I had to explain to him what exactly a harem was after you took him to India! Besides, you have nothing to worry about."
Gil - "And how do you figure that?"
Anita - *boops her nose* "You're a woman, you've developed. I'm sure you can figure it out."
Gil - "I can't! Cid-Vicious wouldn't draw me like he'd draw you!"
Anita - "Trust me hon, what you're doing is enough~."
