also, we streamin on twitch Fridays and Saturdays @ 10 pm ( NY time) till god knows when! TwitchPoor Sonia Belmont ain't cannon no more but I still love her. I think it was actually the second Castlevania I ever played. I don't remember much beyond it being tough as dog dookie!! And not just because trying to see the gameboy screen was essentially an endurance sport.
One more piece to go for the month. . . just couldn't have october go by without a certain character

I never played this one, always wanted to. I heard it was pretty bad (or at least, that's what a review I read said) but I generally prefer games with female leads so I would have loved to play it anyway.

Oh My God! You like her too? I'm doing a research about Castlevania Resurrection (a cancelled Dreamcast game where she was the protagonist with other character), if you want old pictures of the unreleased game I can give you, I discovered there are 2 models for Sonia Belmont in that game, but the game itself I couldn't find.

As you can see there are 2 models, I'm going to call them Green Version (based on the Sonia from Legends) and White Sonia (a completely new design), basically the White Sonia was made when something around the E3 1999 and it was a step back of the Green Sonia that was already made, that probably happened because they felt like the Green Sonia was too much cartoon looking (specially in the eyes). If you want more I'll show just in private.

So did I, it was the first Castlevania game I ever played. I hate how it's apparently considered non-canon, and with Konami the shit show it is that's probably not going to change any time soon.

Fantastic work here on the colors & shading. The contour work on the boots is especially impressive, along with the atmospheric palette.
