I am a tropical place lover, I could be happy here--yeah I could use a partner--but this would be home. I just hope there are places like this and I hope somewhere something or someone can enjoy the beauty of it.

Know how it goes, I, too, would love a partner but it seems like we are planets as well and distance and time separate us and there is no quick way to get from one to the other. I don't need a crowd but instead,Β one who will be there for me and by me and with me all the way through the times. You know, sometimes that inanimate object can be a real friend--it will never treat you badly and its always there.

You have some of the most epic scenery works I've ever seen. Mixing space and nature is just wow. I love both those subjects and you render them so well. <3

I have seem the stars from the country before, it even allows you to see the Milky Way, which is a band of stars going across the sky.
Would be cool to see them at this time of the day like here though.

did you know the mily way is a spiral galaxy and is actually our own galaxy the only reason we can see it is because we're on the outer reaches! (you probably know that but ya know! useless trivia is always good!)
Haha!!! yea and if your out there you can normally see about 2 or 3 planets!

I always wondered though, If you have seen other galaxies, you'll notice they have a bright center, but we can't see that from any point on Earth, surely something that big and bright woulds still be visible, even that far away. But I guess what we already got has still inspired me for all my starry scenes.

Is this a render? If so I'd highly reccomend doing it while enabling anti-aliasing... The edges of the trees/planets/everything are all pixely. Otherwise nice job and pretty colors.

Chromattix In reply to nucleocide [2006-08-17 08:53:41 +0000 UTC]
No rendering here, It's all authentically Mine and drawn bit by bit. I only dont anti-alias because there is a gap between the soft edge and the base colour when I use the flood fill bucket. I guess when I'm in the mood I could soften it.

=-O damn. When I saw this image and your avatar I was thinking you might have done it bit by bit, however I threw the idea aside as it looked like way too much work. You must have a lot of patience.
