You type the persons name with the word 'icon' in front of it and then you surround it with two colons.
: iconPokey-bunny : < like that except without any spaces.
it works the same way with the animations and emotes like this

This helped me immensely. I now feel like I can be a real artist like other people. Thank you for giving me the skills to rack in huge numbers of views. But hey, why you gotta hate on them demotivational posters?

ChrisDalton In reply to BlackfireSilverwolf [2010-07-19 19:32:57 +0000 UTC]
Ok well I expect to see some first class art in your gallery in one hour.
I don't hate all of them but I hate the fact that people who spend hours upon hours on a piece of art will receive a third of the views that a "motivational" poster will.
BTW what exactly is it suppose to motivate me to do?
By the other way I don't think there is HTML for sarcasm but it was worth a try.

BlackfireSilverwolf In reply to ChrisDalton [2010-07-19 21:25:15 +0000 UTC]
It depends on what the artist wants their art to accomplish. If you're going for straight views, something like those posters would be annoying, but it's in the representation. The posters accomplish their goal in seconds: humor. You instantly understand the picture, but you're not likely to sit and admire it artistically. You'll merely appreciate the joke. With other art, it doesn't draw so many viewers, but each of the viewers has to invest more in the picture. It isn't easy to understand the art that's taken longer to make if you just look at it for a second.
They were originally made to demotivate, stating a fact in bold, then telling why it's a bad idea, in theory.
And yes, HTML does have a sarcasm, you just can't see it.
