The way the thorn-like spikes reach up to the sky reminds me so much of Adrian Carmack's artwork used in Doom.

Reminds me of a series by Jon Petri back in the mid to late '60's. One that comes to mind ,,,,,, is over population. I still have the poster, from when I was in the service. There were 8 posters in the series.
