thanks .... I got a new set of colored pencils ..... so I have been playing around with them recently.... I feel a little hmmm..... aimless with them But I’ve been having fun

.... I don’t think I want to change the files ... but these are the scans (instead of the photos) for these pieces .... they are more detailed and perhaps a little More subtle... but they lose a bit of atmosphere.... and in their own way are inaccurate... with the scan the ink floats on top of the other materials and feels very separate..... just thought you might be curious......

Thank you!!  I think eye and brain do things that neither camera nor  scanner can quite duplicate:  something is always lost.  Only you can decide which approach works best for you.  I like the sense of the ink “floating” above the rest...but it does seem that the harshness of the scan harms your subtle mid-tones,  and photos indulge them more harmoniously.  But I don’t have the originals to hand.  More’s the pity.

... no big deal either way it’s always like that.... I only get frustrated when I find myself making too many digital corrections.... sometimes once you start making corrections it is hard to know where to draw the line .... 

yeah I kind of like the floating ink too....

Nope ... but I used marker too I always just pick up whatever is around me
