For Raikim Week— Day 1: Family/Future/Children
Better late than never right?
Anyway, this is my version of Future!Raikim complete with twin babies Kazeko (the elder girl) and Comilei (the younger boy). Kazeko is Japanese and roughly translates to “Child of the Wind.” Comilei was Rai’s “creative” compromise when Omi and Clay suggested Rai and Kim name one of their kids after them.
Kaze’s the battle-happy extravert with a temper, who dreams of becoming a great Xiaolin Warrior just like her parents and uncles while deeply fearing she may never live up to their (or her) expectations. Comi’s more reserved, much preferring to analyze strategies than engage in combat himself. He tends to feel out of place at the Temple and struggles to both keep up with and contain his sister’s enthusiasm.
I tried to revamp Rai and Kim’s monk robes though I’m not sure if I like it. All I knew is that I wanted Rai to have a cape and carry the Blade of the Nebula strapped to his waist… Kim’s didn’t change much but she wanted something less constricting so I flared out the sleeves and end of her robe for wider range of motion as well as pulled her hair into a bun with the Tangled Web Comb (which she has since learned to combine with her fire power to create quite the intimidating attack).
But yeah the babies with babies of their own, what more can I do.
