Sometimes, I wake up in the morning and feel a need to make really ostentatious headgear. The kind with dangling chains, and tiny bells, and glittering shards of crystal. The kind with gradient paintjobs.
OH HI THERE CLAMP.

I know Ashura from RG Veda; can't bring myself to read/watch Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles because holy crap long series is long. But I saw a picture of his version/costume in Tsubasa and was all O____O
So here's a hybrid design for Ashura/-o. He's got all his jewelry and color palette from Tsubasa, but the cut of his skirt and the arm/shinguard things are from the RG Veda manga. I have a hate/hate relationship with the lavender flames on his outer kimono (burgundy, orange, and light purple, CLAMP? REALLY?!). If I ever make this costume IRL I'm prolly just gonna give him a white drapeything like he's got in the manga, it's less... colorfucked.

The hilarious thing is that I can dress up in a costume this revealing and STILL look like a dude. My shoulders are toooo broad.
