I forgot how much fun his ink monsters are to draw...maybe I will finally draw something with his turtle monster 
...I really did have fun doing the linework for the ink crane
Also tried shading it a little bit differently

A very interesting and unique concept. Seriously, I donβt think I have ever seen a concept like this(well, at least not on this website). This is something one would sort of see in like a Ghibi film, but thatβs probably because I have been going nuts with that studio here recently and nearly everything is related to it. :/ Forgive, but I certainly mean that as a compliment.

As with all of your other works I really like how vividly colored it is. You selected just the right shades of the various colors.
The texture of the ink crane itself is also very nicely done; excellent work on this detail. And speaking of detail, that is quite another thing I greatly enjoy about your artwork. Many of your pieces are rich in detail and are simply a delight to look at. This image here can be a fine example of that. C:
In the description, you said this is a remake of an older illustration. Well, looking upon that former illustration (which is quite good in its own right), this is certainly the better version. You have improved something wonderful of the years!
