Thanks so much! That's exactly what I wanted, I adored how cute the bead eyes or faceless ones were, but I wanted to really portray what they actually look like. I hadn't seen handmade yarn dolls look like them though I've seen plush dolls. I'm glad someone thinks I hit that! ^^

I learned I was doing it completely wrong for over three months when I first started, and it took me about five more months to really start to understand the patterns. It doesn't help that sometimes people who write patterns use different keys either! Lol.

I taught myself and practiced almost every day, I was definitely unskilled to begin with. I did it wrong for three months in the beginning, lol.

These are adorable!
Though I don't have much of an eye for this type of work, they look excellently made.

cross-stitching or petitpua for triagulos?
you weave in light green and then sew the triangles

Very good but lacks the triangles in the front

The dark green in the head are the 'triangles', I didn't want to sow or glue tiny triangles to his head because they would rip off. I made them specifically to travel so I worked in the dark green in the head and legs as yarn.

I did actually try and work in 'triangles' in the pattern but because the color change is really hard and they looked more like defects, I just did blotches instead.
