After I did Posessive, I started thinking up a backstory for the Outlaws!Woody and Jessie. The fuck is this faggotry?

So here goes: Some sordid shenanigans start taking place in the town Woody protects (perhaps murder?) and Jessie is the one on the hook for it. But being the good sheriff, he's hesitant to arrest the protesting young lass and they investigate the crime more deeply... but the true culprit turns out to be someone that Woody couldnt've conceived.. someone that he respects. They get into a confrontation that turns violent... and has to end with a bullet (I imagine Jessie shot the guy to get him off of Woody). Tormented and conflicted, not knowing what to do after seeing the shady things taking place in this town behind his back and this poor girl with her silent tears, he takes her onto his steed and they run into the night.. not knowing where they're headed, just knowing that they need to go.
And after killing a man, robbin' a bank or two to get by is easier than sunday morning.

I see OutlawJessie as a little emotionally disturbed. since having killed to save Woody (the act which spurred their own descent into corruption), Jessie's personality's been like a blue flame. Deceptively cool, but feed her a twig, and she'll burn down a village. She only truly cares for Woody and Bullseye.
Woody felt obligated to help and protect her, and he ended up falling for the little broken wild-child. They've become codependent on one another. It's a sad but honest kind of love... they need each other. Desperately.
