First thing: I love guitars, and I love old-fashioned boxy mikes. But I hate drawing them.

While I had worked on that pic of Ora (and subsequently reread Clover vol.3 multiple times), The story kept shifting around in my head so that it accomodated the TS gang; With Woody, Jess, and Bo in Ora, Sue, and Kazuhiko's roles, respectively. I'm an odd bird.
Instead of the dystopian future-setting and the premise of psychics, it ended up feeling like a mix of particularly mournful Bluegrass and a (somewhat) erotic horror short story. Like in the absence of Ora and Sue's psychic powers, maybe Jessie found Woody's number written on an apparently random piece of paper; And maybe Woody dreamt (Doesn't sound as concrete as Ora's "prediction") about his death long before, but he somehow still knew it was true. The conections are less tangible.. but while you're reading the story it all makes sense, in that strange subconscious way.
..Am I the only one who understands all that? *sweatdrop*

I've kinda wanted to draw Woody singing for a while now. Once I got to reading Clover again, I just said "Screw it" and went ahead with it.

I don't think it's too far-fetched. Remember at the end of the second movie, when Woody was kind of wondering if he did the right thing in staying with the roundup gang to go to Tokyo; and he sees his puppet-self on the show singing "You've got a friend in me"?
And there's also that "I'd like to join your posse, boys.." catchphrase of his.
I think it's kind of obvious he's got a bit of that "Singing Cowboy" archetype in him.

I kept thinking of Conway Twitty's "I see the want to in your eyes" when I saw his face finished. I'm a silly goose.
