Richmond G. Champion of The Woodlands, Texas, holds on to his bucking horse on April 19, 2014 at the 93rd Annual Red Bluff Round Up in Red Bluff, California. One thing that I love about broncs is their size. They're certainly not your average cowpony. The ones with the feathers on their hocks like this one are always my fave.

The hair that hangs down on their hocks..ummm best example would be a clydesdale (budweiser horses) Those lovely white hairs that come down like that are called feathers.
