Big Fan of the Herculoids, along with the other Super Hero cartoons I grew up with! This stylized version is Top Notch! I would love to see other Hanna-Barbera heroes in your style such as Space Ghost, Birdman and the Galaxy Trio among others! Great Job Man!

I so miss this cartoon with a passion. This and Johnny Quest. Even though they both were pretty chessy at times.

I grew up with The Herculoids, Jonny Quest, and the other HB superheroes when they were Saturday morning staples (and in JQ's case, primetime). Rewatching them now on Boomerang, I can see the cheesy storytelling elements more, but they do have an irrestistable charm (not to mention the classic designs by Alex Toth - and Doug Wildey for JQ). It does my heart good to see them again, and that there are shows like Ben 10: Alien Force and The Secret Saturdays which take a new twist on similar adventures.

I loved the Herculoids !!! I even came up with a revised version of them several years ago, after I saw the second season ( or was it the third?) of the new Johnny Quest. If I can find the sketches maybe I'll post them. Or at least redraw them... then post them.

Ok I will chime in on this long list of well deserved praise. This piece came out great.Great Design. Great execution. Thus great piece. I love the Toth Tribute and its great to see his designs hold the test of time. Your interpretation of the characters are both dead on and at the same time fresh and new. Awesome work Sean. I am thinking of what to write for the Herculoids beast piece. It is shaping up to look awesome as well.

I feel such a wave of nostalgia from when Cartoon Network showed all those ooooold shorts, although I'm getting the girl mixed up with another bathingsuit clad heroine from another series (she was a brunette who had a boomerang that split into three boomerangs). They look a wee bit goofy, but that's entirely okay.
It just needs those "gloob" things!

Actually, your thinking of Goleeta from "Galtar and the Golden Lance". She didn't have a boomerang that did the three-way split attack -- that was her younger brother, Zorn, who had that weapon -- she had an armguard that fired an energy beam, and summoned a flying beast.
